The service department maintains a database of all equipment repaired or under contract, and fully documents all services performed. Service reports are prepared and submitted within five days of the completion of service. Custom reports are available upon request for such purposes as certification or accreditation, equipment service histories, or for identifying patterns in equipment repairs.

Biomed Qualifications

Lifescience Resources is licensed by the State of Hawaii for x-ray sales, service, and installation.

Lifescience Resources complies with FDA laws and regulations including the Safe Medical Devices Act and FDA Part 1020 Performance Standards for Ionizing Radiation Emitting Products.

Any equipment serviced meets or exceeds all applicable electrical and performance standards of the National Fire Protection Association.

Any equipment serviced meets or exceeds all electrical and performance standards of the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI).

International Certification Commission for Clinical Engineering and Biomedical Technology; United States Certification Commission graphic (attribution Rose Braverman, Lifescience Resources)

Lifescience Resources’ lead technicians are certified in accordance with the certification standards under the auspices of the International Certification Commission for Clinical Engineering and Biomedical Technology (ICC), and the United States Certification Commission (USCC). These Commissions set standards for education and experience, require passing examinations to attain certification, and establish a program of continuing education for certification renewal every three years. The company’s service manager, Eric Tessmer, has been certified since 1981.
